Have a Decent Fight with Your Friend -The Right Way to Do It
October 11th 2006 16:21
Friendship is a long run. There will be ups and downs. If you have a true friend, sooner or later you will find yourself in a situation that you must have an arguement and/or you must have a fight with her/him -and of course reach a solution at the end of it. It is a necessity. If everything is OK all the time, then it means somewhere something is going terribly wrong. And it means that you were never true friends.
But when the time arrives you must know how to act properly, and I've got you covered. Here it is; the right way to have a fight with your friends:
- Choose the time correctly
- Never forget that you are friends, be respectful
- Define the subject properly and never leave it during the arguement
- Listen (this is the hardest one to achieve most of the time)
- Don't try to read his/her mind and let him/her speak
- Speak what you feel and think, be open and direct
- Know that there is a time to end it
Is there any more rules that you can add to the list, judging by your own experiences?
